瀬戸内ブリキャスティング、ジギング　Yellowtail Casting and Jiging in SETOUCHI

この日は友人と瀬戸内エリアにて、ブリキャスティング・青物ジギングで出船してきました。

マイホームとなる今回のフィールドは、鳴門海峡の影響で潮流は最大時速20キロにも達し

潮流の強弱、タイミングで海の中は全く別物となります。

今回も潮のタイミングを見計らってポイントにエントリー、

まずはキャスティングで様子を見ます。

開始早々、2キャスト目でブリがヒット。

その後、メジロクラスのダブルヒット等を交えながら潮の様子をみてジギングへ移行。

サワラをメインに狙っていきます。

ここで使用したのはカルチスーパーロングジグ280ｇ(カラー：ブルーヘッド)

カルチの強烈なフラッシングはサワラにとても効果的で、サワラを狙って釣る事ができるルアーです。

そして、ハマチの反応をポツポツ得ながらも、カルチを試し続けていると巻き上げてくる最中に引っ手繰っていきました。

本命のサワラです。

この時は、大きくしゃくるのでなくゆったりゆったりと、振り幅を少なめにしたワンピッチアクションでのバイトでした。

潮が変わった夕方、再度キャスティングに移行。

選んだルアーはアチューマ190(カラー：ホロトビウオ)

操作しやすく、水面下をナチュラルに泳いでくれ、青物の実績が有ります。

地形の関係で潮が大きく撚れるところを狙い、撚れにルアーが差し掛かったタイミングで激しくバイト。

短時間でブリ数本を追加。

ここからヒットが集中し、クーラー一杯になったとこでストップフィッシングとしました。

H-san’s Yellowtail Casting and Jigging Trip

We’ve received an exciting fishing report from H-san, who enjoyed a productive day of yellowtail casting and jigging in the Seto Inland Sea!

On this outing, my friend and I fished in the area by the Naruto Strait, where currents can reach up to 20 km/h. The area’s dynamic tidal changes make for a constantly shifting underwater environment.

Timing the tide perfectly, we entered the fishing spot and began with casting. On the second cast, a yellowtail (buri) hit the lure, kicking off the day with a bang.

Transition to Jigging:
After a series of double hits on mid-sized yellowtail (mejiro), we shifted to jigging to target Japanese Spanish mackerel (sawara).

Using a Kalchi Super Long Jig (280g, Blue Head color), we focused on the jig’s intense flashing action, which proved highly effective for targeting sawara. While steadily retrieving, a decisive strike by target fish. The sawara hit during a gentle one-pitch action, with reduced jerk amplitude—proving a slower rhythm can sometimes be key.

Evening Casting Success:
As the tide changed in the evening, we returned to casting. The chosen lure was an Atuma 190 (Holo Flying Fish color), known for its ease of use and natural swimming action just below the surface.

Focusing on areas where the current twisted dramatically around the terrain, and we hit the jackpot. The lure drew aggressive bites as it passed through the eddy, and luckily, we were able to fill out the whole cooler box.
